50+1 YEAR REUNION

It’s that time again, we are gathering for our 50th reunion. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN 50+1 YEARS?! The Parole Board has been working on this once in a lifetime event. We look forward to seeing our classmates; please make plans to attend.

The Price for this Amazing Weekend is $125.00 per person, which includes:

Friday

5:00pm to 10:00pm: Meet and Greet and Dinner at the Historic Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens.


Saturday

10:00am: We will be gathering at Gateway Park (under the Ocean to Ocean Bridge) for a short memorial service honoring our classmates who have passed.

6:00pm to 11:00pm: Dinner at Julieanna's Steak & Seafood.


Sunday

10:00am: For the final goodbyes with our classmates, there will be a brunch gathering at the home of Debbie (Cyr) and Bruce Gwynn for $10.00 per person (additional charge and not included in the registration).

We are hoping for a tremendous turn out for this milestone occasion for the Class of 1970.

Schedule of Events


FRIDAY

5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Meet and greet in the beautiful gardens of The Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens (240 South Madison Avenue) starting at 5:00pm to renew old friendships. The Museum will be open during this time for visitation and self-guided tours.

Street Taco Truck dinner with all the toppings will begin at 5:30pm, soft drinks will be provided, and a no host, cash bar will be on site.

Football: We do not yet have ticket information, and football tickets are not included in our 50+1 registration. However, the schedule has just been released that the Yuma-Kofa game will be played on Nov 12. We will update you when we know more.

A Memorial Service to recognize those classmates who have passed will be held at the Gateway Park (under the Ocean to Ocean Bridge, north Gila Street).

After the memorial you are on your own to explore Yuma, see the changes over the past 50 years, and grab a bite to eat.

Pre-dinner, no-host bar and cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm, dinner will begin at 7:00pm.

Prime Rib, Chicken, Vegan & Vegetarian Options Will Be Available

Dancing from 8:00pm to 11:00pm; music provided by The Upper Room Band.

Brunch
An optional event is the farewell brunch at Debbie (Cyr) and Bruce Gwynn’s house. For an additional $10.00 per person fee, you can say your last goodbyes (until 2025) to classmates and sample the menu of the fabulous Garden Café food with the addition of a spectacular view overlooking the Gila Valleys and the Gila Mountains!

Brunch begins at 10:00am at 6792 East Telegraph Street, Yuma, Arizona 86365.
